Rare and Event Aniimo: Inferlupa, Glacy, Umbral and Limited Forms

Which of these searches are Aniimo, forms, or not creatures at all?

Search suggestions are a poor taxonomy. The same ten letters can point at a numbered species, at one named form of it, at a crafting material, at a region, or at a quest giver, and the search box does not say which. This page sorts the rare and event-only terms into their real categories, then gives the acquisition route for each.

Search term What it actually is Where you get it Full steps
Inferlupa Numbered species (No. 004), Nova-stage Fire Break Beast Fang Ridge wild spawn, or evolve a level 20 basic Flameruff Scorchhowl line
Prismana Inferlupa Prismana form of No. 004, not a separate species Nimbus Fields during its Vein Abundance week Prismana Flow rotation
Glacy Numbered species, Ice Heal, Skippy line Nimbus Fields and Driftwise Meadow, plus form gates Prismana guide
Glynsera Numbered species, Bonesky line final stage Nighttime Form after eight Bonesky in a row Beast Fang Ridge
Umbral A rarity on most Aniimo, not a species and not a form One in three thousand wild roll, or a guaranteed egg Egg hatching guide
Fulmintis Numbered species, Lightning DPS, the Wisptis branch Evolve a level 29 Wisptis with a Fulminous Soul and a Roar Stone Ignitis guide
Fentuft Numbered species (No. 59), Lumin-stage Lightning DPS Driftwise Meadow fields; evolves into Fenmane Full Aniimo list
Flameruff elite An Elite tag on the existing Flameruff species Wild Elite NPC in Beast Fang Ridge Scorchhowl guide
Unbroken Flameruff Spirit A material and a held item, not a creature Drops from the Elite Flameruff Scorchhowl guide
Fulminous Soul A material, not a creature Advanced Companion Handbook, level 10 Ignitis guide
Radiant Dreamshadow A Legendary transmog currency, not a creature Advanced Companion Handbook, levels 35 and 65 Egg hatching guide
Blitzwood A region and a Journey chapter, not a creature Level 29 to 45 zone in Idyll Full Aniimo list
Shulala An NPC quest giver, not a creature Horizon Square in Astra Full Aniimo list

[!critical] Five of these terms do not name a catchable Aniimo Unbroken Flameruff Spirit and Fulminous Soul are evolution materials, Radiant Dreamshadow is a premium currency for Legendary transmogrification, Blitzwood is a region and Shulala is a painter in Astra. No amount of map searching finds any of them as a wild spawn.

A form keeps the species but changes its artwork, elements or spawn rule; a separate entry gets its own Aniilog number. Inferlupa and Glynsera have numbers. Prismana Inferlupa, Prismana Glynsera and Umbral do not, which is why searching for them lands in a weather event or a rarity table instead of a habitat page. The form system itself is in the Prismana guide.

How do you get Inferlupa in Aniimo?

Inferlupa is Aniilog No. 004, the Nova-stage Fire breaker at the end of the Emberpup line and one of two species found nowhere else in Idyll. It walks Beast Fang Ridge as a wild spawn, but the intended route is evolution: raise a basic Flameruff to level 20, then pay one Night Stone plus six Unbroken Flameruff Spirits with the Journey chapter Warrior done.

Requirement Value
Starting creature Basic Flameruff, Aniimo level 20
Stone Night Stone, one
Material Unbroken Flameruff Spirit, six
Quest gate Journey: Warrior, a three-night chain
Form restriction Basic Flameruff only; regional forms branch elsewhere

The quest gate is what catches people. Warrior stays out of your journal until you investigate a clue in Beast Fang Ridge described as the Inferlupa’s flying head, and the chain runs across three separate in-game nights. Community guides print the same three-night structure and the same six-spirit cost, so this is corroborated rather than single-source. The evolution table sits on our Scorchhowl page; the Beast Fang Ridge page maps the clue relative to Sanctum: Water to Ice.

Is Prismana Inferlupa still obtainable?

Only inside its Vein Abundance week. Prismana forms do not spawn outside a Prismana Flow, and the rotation decides which region is primed for one, so Prismana Inferlupa is a calendar item rather than a map item. The schedule puts it in Nimbus Fields from 12 to 18 October 2026, which Game8’s Prismana Inferlupa page and the rotation write-up agree on.

Two disagreements belong on the record. A Reddit thread and an Instagram post place the window at 19 to 26 October, one week later than the majority. And in the earlier Beast Fang Ridge segment the tool calendar shows Glynsera and Scorchhowl artwork side by side, leaving open whether two Prismana were eligible in the same week. Check the in-game Vein Abundance card before spending a Nurture charge, and read the Prismana Flow rotation page for the six-segment schedule.

How do you get Glynsera and Prismana Glynsera?

Glynsera is the final stage of the Bonesky line, an Ice attacker whose Nighttime Form adds Dark. Its base form is a plain Beast Fang Ridge spawn; the two rare versions each have a different gate.

Version Trigger Timed
Glynsera Base spawn in Beast Fang Ridge No
Glynsera, Nighttime Form Catch eight Bonesky in a row, then look for it at night No, but the streak resets on a miss
Prismana Glynsera Prismana Flow in Beast Fang Ridge, level pocket 29 to 34 Yes, the 21 to 27 September week

The Nighttime Form is the most commonly misreported one. Game8 places it in Rosetower Woods at night after the eight-Bonesky streak, while GameRant and our own region tables place the encounter in Beast Fang Ridge. Treat the streak as the real gate and the region as the detail to verify in your own client. Once you have beaten the first one the Nighttime Form becomes a normal catch, so the grind is one-time.

Prismana Glynsera is the more valuable of the two and harder to plan around: an Ice and Light DPS at the Nova stage, sitting in a hidden level pocket rather than the region’s overview row, drawn out by the Nurture loop at the Beast Fang Ridge Bloom. Miss the September week and the Prismana Carnival from 19 to 25 October is the only published second chance.

Which Prismana and rare forms are worth the detour?

Prismana Glacy is the best free Prismana for most accounts. Glacy is an Ice healer from the Skippy line, found in Nimbus Fields and Driftwise Meadow, and its plain form is a fine early healer that gets replaced later. The Prismana gains Light, unlocking Glimmer Shot, a universal damage buff that costs almost nothing in EP and keeps Glacy off the field. It also spawns northwest of the frozen lake in Driftwise Meadow and is one of fourteen Prismana Pact choices, so a new Pathfinder can simply take it free. Glacy’s other forms are gated: the Sea of Flowers form needs fifteen Sea of Flowers Skippy caught in a row, and the Snowfield form wants the Student II title.

Prismana Fulmintis is the cautionary example. Fulmintis is the Wisptis line’s Lightning DPS branch with one of the highest base Attack values in the game, so the Prismana looks attractive on paper — but guide and community consensus rates it no better than the base form, because its exclusive skill duplicates Enhanced Lightning Blade. Take it for the artwork, not for a team slot. Base Fulmintis comes from evolving a level 29 Wisptis with the Fulminous Soul instead of the Dark branch, covered on the Ignitis page.

Umbral is the rarity with the worst fine print. It behaves like Sparkling rather than like a regional form: every eligible species carries the same hidden roll, so there is no Umbral roster to farm. The base rate is one in three thousand, the Windchaser Badge raises Sparkling and Umbral spawns by 50 percent in Breezy Plains, and the result always lands with Perfect Innate Potential.

[!warning] Umbral is lost the moment you evolve or change form The game warns you before it happens and there is no way back. You keep the Perfect Potential, but the dark Vein-coated appearance disappears permanently, so an Umbral Emberpup will never become an Umbral Scorchhowl. Prismana forms never roll Umbral in the first place.

What are the rare drops and materials people mistake for Aniimo?

Three search terms on this page are items, each gated behind a different system and each with a name that reads like a creature.

Item Real category Where it comes from Needed for
Unbroken Flameruff Spirit Material and held item Elite Flameruff, Beast Fang Ridge Six per Inferlupa
Fulminous Soul Evolution material Advanced Companion Handbook, level 10 Evolving Wisptis into Fulmintis
Radiant Dreamshadow Legendary currency Advanced Companion Handbook, levels 35 and 65 Legendary transmogrification

Unbroken Flameruff Spirit is the Inferlupa gate. The Elite Flameruff carries the in-game title “Flameruff the Mighty” above its head and stands in the withered forest area of Beast Fang Ridge, and the drop rate is low enough that several groups usually have to be cleared for six. GameSpot and Game8 describe the same Elite and the same drop, making this the best-corroborated material here. Two details are unsettled: whether the Elite only appears after the Warrior chain is finished, and whether it can be Twined rather than only defeated. Treat the catch question as Unconfirmed. Spare copies are still useful, because the spirit also works as a held item that ricochets between targets and stacks Break efficiency by 10 percent per hit, up to three stacks.

Fulminous Soul is a Battle Pass item, not a wild drop. The documented route is to reach level 10 of the Advanced Companion Handbook, where it is granted as the Soul of Electric Shock, and the evolution also consumes a Roar Stone. Roar Stones are Alpha drops, and farming notes point at Alpha Blazen on the mountain south of the Blitzwood Bloom — the one genuine creature connection to that search term. Sources disagree on whether the Wisptis branch consumes one Roar Stone or three, so budget for three.

Radiant Dreamshadow is the most misleading of the three names. It is a Legendary-rarity currency used to transmogrify the appearance of a Legendary Aniimo such as Irisalis, it does not touch stats or abilities, and only two are obtainable per season, at Advanced Companion Handbook levels 35 and 65. The word “Radiant” also appears in two unrelated places: the Radiant egg label, which only raises the Sparkling hatch chance, and the in-game description of a Radiant Prismana Flow, the Silver Badge weather intervention. None of the three are the same thing.

Which rare spawns need a prerequisite before they appear?

Four more terms resolve to ordinary species with unusual gates, and one is filed in the wrong region by a lot of sources.

Creature Prerequisite Best-known location
Flamerion Nighttime plus 15 Sparki caught in a row Beast Fang Ridge, Nimbus Fields, Blitzwood
Fragrancier Evolve Dewy at level 27 with one Night Stone Sea of Flowers, contested with Rosetower Woods
Fentuft None; plain wild spawn in a level 50 area Driftwise Meadow fields
Fenmane Level 42 Fentuft, three Roar Stones, one Aniimo swapped with a friend Evolved from Fentuft

Flamerion is the streak creature: Aniilog No. 028, a Fire Regen unit that only spawns at night once you have caught fifteen Sparki without a break in the chain. Each region has its own version, with fifteen Highland Sparki around Berylline Vale, fifteen Forest Sparki in The Mistwoods, and a Sea of Flowers counterpart. One non-Sparki catch resets the counter, so this is a dedicated night session. It earns a Fire-team slot as an EP engine, a role the best team guide treats as real rather than filler.

Fragrancier is the Dewy line’s second stage, a Nova-stage Dark Support that heals, buffs and debuffs but only shines inside Dark teams. Game8 places a single lone Fragrancier in the Sea of Flowers, on the small island north of the Alpha Irisal boss, and MetaBot lists the same region at level 19 to 28. Our own region tables instead file the Dewy line under Rosetower Woods, and the Sea of Flowers page calls Fragrancier the one species you cannot catch anywhere else. The habitat is contested between two regions across the sources.

Fentuft is the cleanest answer here: Aniilog No. 59, a Lumin-stage Lightning DPS, with a large group roaming the open fields of Driftwise Meadow next to Plateau Nimbi, right by the region’s fast travel point. This is a level 50-plus area, so catch resistance is high if you arrive early. Note the discrepancy: our own regional tables file Fentuft under Russet Highlands, while Game8, MetaBot, GameRant and Wikily all place it in Driftwise Meadow. Search Driftwise Meadow first.

Getting Fenmane out of Fentuft is the awkward part. Game8’s requirements are a level 42 Fentuft, three Roar Stones and one Aniimo traded with a friend, and the in-game hint is literally to watch Pathfinders exchange Aniimo. That trade gate is why Fentuft searches spike: not a hard fight, a social one. A Prismana Fenmane is also reported at RV Level 6, community data rather than a printed spawn.

What are Blitzwood and Shulala if they are not Aniimo?

Blitzwood is a region — a level 29 to 45 zone in Idyll with fourteen species rows, home to Bolty, Blazen and a Mountain Woods sub-population. Two rare things live there: Prismana Blazen spawns under the lightning storm on the plateau east of Blitzwood, and Roar Stones farm from Alpha Blazen south of the Blitzwood Bloom, which is why Fulmintis searches sometimes end up there. The zone’s rows are in the full Aniimo list.

Shulala is a person. He is the painter beside a blank canvas near the Horizon Square checkpoint in Astra, and talking to him starts the side quest That’s Art! Not Scribbles!, in which he shows you a painting of an Aniimo and asks for the real creature. The quest pays four Aniimo Paintings and 130 Glimmer, and the target is the species in the painting rather than Shulala himself. For currency alone, Aniimo codes are the faster source.

[!tip] Track rare forms from the inventory, not the map Aniimo storage has filters for Umbral, Prismana and Sparkling, so the fastest audit of what you own is the rarity filter rather than another region sweep. The same screen confirms whether a duplicate is a Sparkling Prismana, the rarest single result in the game.

What is still Unconfirmed on this page?

Four items carry less certainty than the rest. The Nighttime Glynsera region is split between Rosetower Woods and Beast Fang Ridge. The Inferlupa Vein Abundance week is printed as 12 to 18 October by most calendars and 19 to 26 October by others. The Roar Stone count for the Wisptis-to-Fulmintis evolution appears as both one and three. And whether the Elite Flameruff can be Twined at all, rather than only defeated for its drop, is not stated by any guide we could verify.

Two figures are community-level rather than official: the Prismana Inferlupa rotation comes from an event card naming a region rather than a creature, and Prismana Fenmane’s RV Level 6 unlock has no printed spawn entry. The egg hatching guide covers the label system, the weather guide explains why most weather forms cannot be forced, and Operation: Egg Heist is the one event that hands out guaranteed Umbral and Prismana eggs rather than a roll.
