Beast Fang Ridge Aniimo Guide: Alpha Spawns, Sanctum and Catch List
Where every Beast Fang Ridge Aniimo spawns, how Alpha Glynsera, Alpha Minespine and Alpha Scorchhowl are found, and how to clear Sanctum: Water to Ice.
Where is Beast Fang Ridge in Aniimo?
Beast Fang Ridge is a mountain region in the north-eastern arm of the Breezy Plains, past the Mistwoods turnoff. It is the third combat region most players reach, and the level band the game expects you to bring is 31 to 36. Wolf-fang rock spires crown the ridgeline, and the region is built around a running feud between the fire Emberpup line and the ice Bonesky line. Aniimo itself is a free-to-play creature-catcher, and the Steam store page confirms Idyll as the launch continent.
Community sites do not agree on the level range, and the gap is worth knowing before you travel. MetaBot reads the install files and reports a 13 to 35 band, because a handful of Flameruff sit at level 13 near the region edge. Wikily lists the habitat itself at 30 to 35, All Things How uses the same 30 to 35 window, and Mobalytics gives 31 to 36 as a recommendation rather than a spawn range. Take 30 to 35 as the working band and 31 to 36 as the level you should actually bring.
One naming trap: several maps and at least one side quest call this ridge Thousand-Fang Ridge. Game8 lists the quest as Warrior (The Legend of Thousand-Fang Ridge) while MetaBot files the same quest under Warrior. Same place, two names, so do not go looking for a second ridge.

What spawns in Beast Fang Ridge?
Sixteen species are recorded in Beast Fang Ridge across 19 form rows and 226 placed spawn points. Eight of those rows are Fire, which is why the region reads as a fire zone, but the second-largest group is Ice: Bonesky, Fenrier and Glynsera all live here. MetaBot’s element count for the region is Fire 8, Wind 4, Grass 3, Earth 3, Ice 3, Dark 2, Lightning 1, Water 1.
| Aniimo | Form | Trigger condition | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Emberpup | Base | None | 47 recorded points, the densest row in the region |
| Emberpup | Mountain Woods | None | 16 points; the ridge’s signature regional form |
| Flameruff | Base | None | 15 points, some placed as low as level 13 |
| Flameruff | Mountain Woods | None | 2 points, approximate placement only |
| Scorchhowl | Thunderstorm | Thunderstorm weather | One appears at a time and it does not respawn |
| Inferlupa | Base | None | One of two species found nowhere else in Idyll |
| Bonesky | Base | None | 34 points, concentrated on the outskirts near Frozen Caverns |
| Fenrier | Base | None | 7 points, shares Bonesky’s corridors |
| Glynsera | Base | None | 1 point, approximate placement |
| Celestis | Base | None | 1 point |
| Chirpi | Base | None | 21 points |
| Chirpi | Beach | None | 1 point |
| Iris | Mountain Woods | None | 38 points, the second-densest row after Emberpup |
| Budclaw | Base | None | 7 points |
| Sparki | Base | Nighttime | The night window runs 20:00 to 06:00 in game time |
| Flamerion | Base | Nighttime, after catching 15 Sparki in a row | A notification fires the first time it works |
| Flutternym | Mountain Woods | None | 19 points |
| Gracewing | Mountain Woods | Quest: The Land of Dancing Illusions | Hidden in the pile of dead leaves in Lumenfly Valley |
| Pomegg | Highland | None | 3 points |
Scorchhowl and Inferlupa are the two rows you cannot get anywhere else in Idyll, so if you are filling out the full Aniimo list this ridge is mandatory for both.
Where are the Alpha and Omega bosses in Beast Fang Ridge?
Two things are true at once here: Beast Fang Ridge is thick with Alpha markers, and it has no Omega boss at all. Alpha and Omega are not difficulty tiers of one system. Alphas roam the open world, respawn on their own, cost 30 Primegy per attempt and need no quest. Omegas are a separate quest-gated tier: they stay inert until you finish one specific Journey quest in their region, cost 50 Primegy per attempt, reset weekly on Monday at 04:00, and their chest can be claimed three times a week. There are exactly three Omegas in the game, and none of them live in Beast Fang Ridge.
| Boss | Tier | Level | Where to look | Sources |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alpha Glynsera | Alpha | 35 | South of Sanctum: Water to Ice, below an ice cave blocked by flammable vines or solid ice | Game8, MetaBot |
| Alpha Minespine | Alpha | 35 | South of Forgotten Mine, inside Crystal Cave - Underground | Game8, MetaBot |
| Alpha Scorchhowl | Alpha | 40 | East of Sanctum: Water to Ice, in the centre of a three-stone monolith; Game8 gives -1304, 1364 |
Game8, Aniimo Tools |
| Omega | None present | — | No Omega marker is mapped in this region | Aniimo Tools, MetaBot |
[!warning] The boss lists genuinely disagree Game8 and Aniimo Tools both place three Alphas in Beast Fang Ridge: Scorchhowl, Glynsera and Minespine. MetaBot reports only two boss markers for the region, Glynsera and Minespine, and files an Alpha Scorchhowl marker under Echoback Landing instead. Check both markers in your own build before you commit a route. Community trackers have also recorded Scorchhowl, Glynsera and Minespine respawn intervals of about 20 seconds each, but that figure appears on a single tracker, so treat it as single-source and unverified.
Minespine deserves a note of its own. Aniimo Tools reports that Geoclaw and Minespine are the only two Alpha pins the game leaves off its own map and compass until the region Branch’s 120-Amber blessing, Earthwake Prayer, reveals the cave they stand in. If you have swept the ridge and never found Alpha Minespine, that is why.
If you want the Omega tier at all, you have to leave. Omega Infergon sits in the Russet Highlands behind the Journey quest Warrior, Omega Sherro sits in Echoback Landing behind Stars and the Knight, and Omega Tuckin sits in the Mistwoods behind Binding Oath. The Echoback Landing guide covers the Sherro fight in detail.
What is Sanctum: Water to Ice and how do you clear it?
Beast Fang Ridge contains exactly one Sanctum marker. Game8 names it Sanctum: Water to Ice, and it doubles as the region’s best landmark: both Alpha Glynsera and Alpha Scorchhowl are described relative to it. Travel to the sanctum, walk east for Scorchhowl and south for Glynsera.
The name itself has decent support. All Things How groups Water to Ice with Wings Unfurled, Windborne and Mistrider Circuit as the ice, wind and cloud rooms of the Sanctum set, which is a second independent listing of the same name. What is not well documented is the interior route. Almost every Sanctum guide in circulation was written during the closed beta, and AniimoVerse notes that at least one Sanctum was renamed between beta and launch, so the step-by-step water-to-ice solution for the launch build is Unconfirmed here. The safe plan is the one every Sanctum shares: sweep the optional chests first, then solve the room, because the exit seals behind you.
How do you get around Beast Fang Ridge?
The region is dense with traversal markers but thin on fast travel. Three transporters serve the whole ridge, against 70 chests and nine Lumin Amber, so plan a loop rather than hopping between waypoints.
| Marker type | Count | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Transporter | 3 | You must reach each one on foot before it becomes a fast-travel point |
| Bloom | 2 | Teleport landmarks that reveal the region map; the Prismana farming Bloom is reported at -1248, 1530 |
| Chest | 70 | The largest single collectible pool in the region |
| Lumin Amber | 9 | Levels up the region’s Branch |
| Pathfinder Challenge | 9 | Rank progress |
| Cave & Portal | 3 | Cave mouths and portal entries on the ridge |
| Lumin Collection | 3 | — |
| Lumin Marking | 3 | — |
The -1248, 1530 Bloom coordinate comes from a single community route write-up, and the same article’s farming pocket is listed as -1249, 1530, one digit off. Treat both as single-source community data rather than exact pins, and confirm against your own map before you build a route around them. The count of two Blooms, by contrast, matches MetaBot’s file-derived marker list, so that part is solid.
Nurture does not open in Beast Fang Ridge until you hit 40 percent collection progress in the region. That threshold grants the Primal Breath Bronze badge, which carries Behavior Mastery and unlocks Nurture. Below 40 percent you can catch here all day and never see a Prismana prompt, which is the single most common reason players think the region is broken.
What level and team should you bring to Beast Fang Ridge?
MetaBot’s type-chart count against the region’s wild rows puts Water and Earth at the top, each hitting 10 of 19 rows super-effectively, with Fire hitting 5. So the region punishes the obvious instinct: the fire-heavy Emberpup and Flameruff are exactly what a Water or Earth attacker wants to meet. Tromber - Beach Form and Glacy are the two Water picks the same page recommends, while Grizbo and Magmarex - Basic Form cover Earth.
Bring one answer for ice as well. Bonesky, Fenrier and Glynsera make up three of the region’s rows, and an all-fire team walks into them with no leverage. If you are still assembling a squad, the best team guide and the tier list cover the current rankings.
What is worth farming in Beast Fang Ridge?
Three things keep players coming back after the story moves on.
Prismana Scorchhowl. Game8 places the region’s Prismana Flow spawn at the westernmost edge of Beast Fang Ridge, and notes that only one appears at a time. Prismana Flow is the rainbow weather state, so the spawn only exists while that weather is overhead — the Prismana guide covers how to trigger it, and weather control is explained in how to change the weather.
Thunderstorm Scorchhowl. A second, separate form appears only during a thunderstorm, one at a time, with no respawn. If you want both the Thunderstorm and Prismana rows of Scorchhowl you need two different weather states, not two visits.
Flamerion and Sparki. Both are night-locked. Sparki is the simpler target, but Flamerion only appears after fifteen Sparki catches in a row, which means a dedicated night session rather than a casual sweep.
Beast Fang Ridge is also one of the regions that rotates through the Vein Abundance weekly blessing. A community checklist recorded the ridge’s active blessing as boosting Bonesky and letting Prismana Glynsera appear, which matches MetaBot’s Prismana listing for the ridge’s ice line. That rotation is reported by one tracker, so confirm the current week’s boost in game before you spend a night farming it.
If you are still early in the game, the beginner guide explains the Pathfinder Rank gates you need before the ridge is worth the trip, and the rare and event Aniimo page covers the special-form categories that show up here.
